Name: There was an evil in the forest long ago, but that is not me, though we share a part of a name; [Tigerstream] (formerly Tiger by the Stream)
Age: I have not lived long enough to be an elder, but not young enough to be a apprentice either! [30 Moons]
Gender: Female, banshee, lady, feminine, damsel, or [She-Cat]
Clan: At first I did not know if this was the right clan for me, but now I realize, it is; [WindClan]
Rank: I am blessed with the humble rank of a warrior, sure enough indeed, a [Warrior]
Image (Optional): In my younger youth they saw me (x)
Physical Description:x_fur_x
Tigerstream is the sole owner of a peltage much like her ancestor's own. It is a rich, dark orange, tinged darker than the more common silky, light ginger pelts. Hers seems to thrive and bleed its own fiery essence joyously as shocks of pure midnight black streak over her back and along her spinal cord. The stripes much like shadows lashed over her back and secured with a vicious jerk to her feminine frame. This is a strong, foretelling illusion that has given her her own namesake as a tiger. Even if you look at her pelt in the moonlight it will still be the color of fire, blazing furiously no matter what. The black that corrupts the fire like shade is spread like ripples with the distance, which is unusual in any color of pelt, let alone one that makes her appear like one of the most fierce predators on the earth.
x_eyes_x
Her eyes are inherited from neither sire nor dam, but most likely traceable through the lines back to the greatcats of her ancestors in TigerClan once more. They are a daring, dangerous, warning dark orange, so mixed close to black that the two almost consume each other, creating a fearful lock of gaze when she looks upon you. The daring inside them challenges you to hold her look and battle her will through your very eyes. But the danger in them also makes you fear ever doing so and repulses most from the idea. It is her eyes that will flash with emotion, usually ranging from impatience, irritability and fury to satisfaction, gloating and pride. In a way these portray her most strong emotions but also conceals that other side to Tigerstream.
x_build_x
Frame remaining with her feminine essence, she is slender and graceful, as her mother was most certainly, and has the speed of her father. However her true form was looked upon by only those that saw the depth of passion and nature within her, that of the tiger. That which could vanish in the undergrowth and turn to a invisible flurry and whirl of claws and teeth through the shadows. A quick and venomous death to receive, curving, thick talons arch out from her paws, constantly gouging the earth and appearing to hide the sharpness of their razor edge. Teeth swoop into a grip that pierces the flesh and does not let go, gleaming with the rejoice to be satisfied with blood splashed over their pure ivory surface.
x_held_x
How she holds herself restricts itself to a proud, dignified and determined offer, flexing through the length of her body it is clear she has the blood of royalty. Always giving this outlook she keeps well a satisfying look of a proud and noble warrior, which of course, is always a good thing to notice. It also shows she is no easy matter to be trifled with and warns away any that would dare think so. She may well have the body of a mere she-cat, but she has the mind, heart and spirit that of the Tiger.
x_spoken_x
Tigerstream is a dangerous cat, from appearance most definately, so it is best that you are aware of the way she speaks. She does not raise her voice, oh no, that is for cats that have to shout to be heard. Of which, Tigerstream is not. Her voice is always low and quiet, almost daring and dangerous in itself. It could be quite attractive in an alluring, pulling way, as that is what her voice indeed does. It pulls your ear and jerks it viciously so that you are paying attention to her every word, as she intends, of course. It would be attractive at least, were it informal, but alas, Tigerstream rarely uses her voice in an informal way and usually restricts it to varying tones of threat and command. It makes you wonder though, what would happen if you made Tigerstream shout or yowl? Surely nothing good could ever come of it...
x_other attributes_x
Yes, there are many secrets and tricks of trade that Tigerstream can boast, as many others can too, but she usually more so than they. Well for one, she boasts her fine blood, most definitely traceable back to the tigers, as mentioned so many times before. But not just tiger blood, royal tiger blood. A leader in her past, maybe. But moving on from her blood and tigers she is inanely strong, but not one of those lumbering type of strong cats. No, she is quick too, which makes her deadly to her enemies. Speed, strength and blood are the main ones to mention, but she is not avert to swimming and will quite openly swim if she must. Her dark pelt is also very good camouflage in the shadows, with the stripes flicking over it as if she were just a bit of grass with shadows imitated over her body. Ah yes; a cat of many tricks of the trade.
Personality:x_enemies_x
Though rather avoiding of trouble unlike those that seek it, she will fight back with a fury of determination no matter what the cost or odds. Sometimes rendered weak to her emotions she finds it hard to take snide comments and insults, her temper is short and can be from sweet as a butterfly to a ferocious, roaring tiger in a moment. This means bad luck for her enemies, this warrior is not one to mess with, not to say any of the warriors really are though. Definately she is probably one of the more hostile cats in the forest. However if you get on the good side of her, you are unlikely to be sorry. But if your an enemy, there's almost no way of getting to the other side of the pond in this one, in fact, if you try, its more likely to get you further sunk.
x_loved_x
Tigerstream was extremely fond of her close family, especially Shatterstar, whom she has admired ever since he began to raise in the ranks. She has never had a mate and because of her ambition and the restraints it may create. A strong ally to have it is most certainly reccomended that she is one of the first warriors that you seek to win over. This can be a much harder job than it sounds, to "win over" Tigerstream you must gain her respect. Why? Because she for one does not appreciate nor enjoy the company of cowards and the weak.
x_believe_x
She sometimes shows doubt in the Warrior Code but nevertheless sticks to it dutifully. She is very passionate about her ideas but guards them warily, as if someone would wish to steal them and use them against her. She often over-reacts about situations and is very anxious to prove herself loyal to clan but is sometimes too ambitious for her own good. She resents being helped no matter what the situation, she is impatient but a quick learner and once she has an idea or promise she'll stick to it like glue.
x_friends_x
Tigerstream often finds it very hard to make friends both because of her tough history and because she is so determined, and much more of a strong type of she-cat than the usual innocent "oh-I-hurt-my-claw!" type of cat. Deep down what she really wants is someone that she can just be good friends with and not be hurt by, someone that will enjoy her company and always be there, watching her back.
x_mercy_x
Tigerstream shows mercy... yes, but not easily and without reason, as she is ruthless and could be seen as very much a risk if you were hoping for mercy. Yeah, its not the best idea to test her mercy. She can be merciful if in the right mood - yeah she's one of those kind that lets their choices be influenced by her mood and opinion - if you are innocent she will more than likely let you go. But to be fair, she will not judge a cat without evidence, which in a way makes her both a good and slightly calmer warrior.
x_overview_x
A rather tomboyish she-cat she is a determined warrior with high ambitions. Fair but short-tempered and a strong ally. Respects strength, wisdom and strategy.
Short Description: short, sweet and simple; "Sleek tiger-striped orange she cat with dark orange eyes."
History:-_kithood_-
Storm clouds rose from the rim of the horizon, brooding thoughtfulness crawling drearily over the lush forests, browns, reds, golds and russets flickered colorfully through the warm lands, a slight breeze sighing over its home. From the peaceful silence came a crying, wailing noise, shrill and pitched as it was drawn away from the life it knew so well. A shrieking call of mourning went up grievously, singing its sorrows to the dawning world. Near the river that gleamed with dawn's brightness, on its banks a silver-furred beauty lay, breath stilled and eyes dimming as the light of youth left the form. Loops of a darker gray seemed lifeless and lost of their glittering illusion as the fur of the creature stilled. Crouched low and hunched beside the body was a marvelously handsome stark bright silver-furred tom, both wiry and muscular he seemed bent over in grief, sorrow clouding his vivid green eyes. Tongue moving rapidly he was constantly switching between a wailing, orange and black scrap of wet fur that cried out along with two other bundles and the silky, cold silver fur of the cat-with-stilled-breath.
Both a new dawn and fall of night was born that morning, the dawn of the Tiger by the Stream and fall of Touched frost. Grief swept on by Stream and Tiger followed the Touched frost from the land, grief for the dead.
Moongaze had been somewhat a discerning mate to Touchfrost for her last few moons, having gone off with a kittypet named Tuesday and had kits with here, only now that he had discovered that Touchfrost was pregnant with his kits, had he returned to him. And here his love passed from him, on the boarder of the River where he had fished, played and loved so much as he had grown, and here a new love began. He had two daughters and one son, and another son unborn in his lovely Touchfrost's womb. But he loved them all equally, despite whatever part they had played in Touchfrost's death. One kit had orange fur darker than his and dark, brooding orange eyes. Her stripes were black but they reminded him of her mother's pelt, less they were straight and black while her mothers be circled and a glittering gray.
He had been shocked to look to those eyes when they opened a few days after, full of conquest and hope, but at the same time dangerous and flashing with viciousness, he knew she was very much alike that which knew its name as a Tiger. He decided a fitting name, she would have a clan-name, she would be Tigerkit, for Tiger was what she was and perhaps in the future it would end with "stream" for that was where she was born, and it would commemorate her mother's death-place.
-_apprenticeship_-
But Tigerkit quickly became an apprentice, but shortly after, decided her place was not in the clan, she moved and picked up and left. Her father followed her, trying to find her and bring her back. The two found each other, and agreed to stay together until he had convinced her. Soon they began to forget the clan and grow, Tigerpaw was instead Tiger by the Stream, Moongaze, well, was still Moongaze. Of her brother and sister, Tiger by the Stream was unaware of how they were, but she knew that they would be fine - they had a clan to look after them.
Moongaze trained her, taught her of the history of the forest, of the clans, of a cats nature, how to fight and hunt. He taught her the very best. A quick learner she was always spiteful of any repriming and gorged herself on praise. Finally her father one day told her. "I have not taught you these lessons for mere belief and survival, nor have I taught you of the great StarClan watching over us both for no reason." The two cats both humbled themselves at the name of their warrior ancestors. He suddenly looked up and the two of them met eyes, a hard, determined gaze swept between father and daughter, determination rooting itself in both of them. 'My daughter, my Tiger by the Stream, you are of TigerClan, the strongest, most fierce warriors known of the great clans. But without clan you are nothing, weak and unprotected.' he spat the word, immediately he saw fury and defiance rise up in his daughter and gazed proudly at her in return at this show of emotion.
'You have finished your training, Tiger by the Stream, and in my turn I commend you as a warrior to StarClan, under the name of Tigerstream. But without clan, this means nothing. TigerClan are not here for either of us, my dear, and you are the closest to them I have seen a cat get. TigerClan should approve my choice though, as I play out your future I entrust you to... WindClan, yes, our old clan, Tigerstream, remember? They have always been reliable and trustworthy to us and... fierce.' He saw a uncharacteristic reluctance stir in his daughters eyes, quietly she meowed. 'Would you come too, father?'
-_warriors'life_-
Moongaze gave a warm, comforting but sad small smile. 'No, they would probably not want one that has left them so much. First taking a kittypet mate, then leaving the clan after you.' Tigerstream immediately leapt up and snarled. 'Thats stupid! I am proud of my father and mother! Both formidable warriors! I am more of a warrior than any of those cats, let them challenge me about your loyalty if they must!' Moongaze smiled broadly and laughed heartily. 'I do not need convincing, my daughter, just remember who you are, you are Tigerstream, fierce warrior of WindClan! I shall take you to the boarder of their territory and instruct you further over their territory. But you will be a tresspasser, possible death might lie in wait for you, will you go to this place?' A glint of steel and solid knowledge of what she would reply with was visible in Tigerstream's eyes for such a brief moment Moongaze half suspected he had imagined it.
'Trespasser?' She breathed, Moongaze knew she had never been a trespasser, and was very much attached to her free-roaming life, going where she pleased when she pleased. He smirked slyly. 'Afraid?' She snorted and tossed her head defiantly, he thought wonderingly to himself, "she will do well in WindClan, if I ever thought a cat would!"
He led her to the boarder, told her how to respect each rank in a clan, how to speak to Mossstar who led the cats of WindClan and exactly what to say. She followed his orders exactly, having him have told her she would meet him every two moons at the boarder of WindClan territory. With luck and determination in her heart they arranged the next meet before departing with solemn, solid farewells. Breathing in the thick scent of the forest Tigerstream tossed her head like a horse or bull about to charge before jumping forwards, teeth barred into the unknown, unfamiliar territory. She was a tresspasser.
She roamed as openly as possible and eventually found a patrol, at first she appeared as a fearsome beast, striking fear into the hearts of the three cats that were on patrol, despite them outnumbering her three-to-one. But they calmed as she lowered her head and unbarred her teeth, ears flicking catiously as her low voice meowed daringly. 'You... WindClan cats, take me to...' She smirked, knowing it was a corny line as any. 'Your leader.' Warily they obliged, leading her through the thick forest into a beautiful glade that made Tigerstream's heart leap. At first she just stood and stared, jaw falling at the appearance. How it was so tropical and foreign, the glade sweeping down to fill with soft golden sand as brambles, ferns and bamboo mixed with other unknown plants to create a firm, strong wall around the glade.
Looking further down into the glade she looks at the far side of it, where a rock face begins to form as it becomes sheer and disappears from view, pure, crystalline water cascading down with a gentle gurgle. The sun reflected off of this and made her dazzled for a moment before she shook her head in wonder and looked to pay attention to the cats. It was Greenleaf and they were well fed, some just lying out on the golden sand, sunning themselves, others grooming each other amiably while they swapped gossip. sharing tongues she remembered Moongaze had called it. The cats themselves... They were healthy, yes, as mentioned before, well-fed. Their pelts tended to be light with the occasional dark tabby visible, glossy pelts too she noted, lustrous almost.
Suddenly she noticed a golden-brown she cat with fearsome amber eyes striding towards the patrol, the three cats that were escorting Tigerstream stepped back and melted away into the other crowd of cats whom were now forming, all highly interested with this newcomer that trespassed on their territory. In its very heart in fact, their camp, their home. Tigerstream barred her teeth and held her head high, thinking these cats respected strength and dignity. Partly true from some admiring glances, partly wrong from the unexpected attack that the golden-brown she-cat that was approaching launched at her. Clearly seeing and knowing the tactic from training that this cat was using against her - trying to get her on her back - Tigerstream weaved out of the path the she-cat was following then as soon as claws swiped down she jumped back into it.
It was a tactic her father had showed her, after that step you had to pull your opponents paws away from under them with a sweep of your forepaw. Tigerstream had never been very good at this part, and knew you had to do it with lightning speed, but she executed it perfectly and knew normally praise would have followed, but this was no game - this was real. As the golden-brown she-cat fell, clearly startled by this turn Tigerstream moved with agility once more, pinning down her opponent and growling until the cat flicked its ears in dismissal, clearly not wanting to fight anymore. Tigerstream pulled back but did not sheathe her claws, the golden-brown she-cat raised herself without appearing hurt in either dignity or physical form.
'Where did you learn that?' The she-cat's voice slipped out smoothly, sharp and demanding towards Tigerstream. As Tigerstream looked up with narrowed eyes, almost questioning why she wanted to know where she'd learnt that tactic and the she-cat repeated her question. 'Where did you learn that? That move... It is a clan cat move, not one that a loner would know.' Tigerstream waited a moment, clearly trying the she-cat's patience till she recognized a breaking point, as it rose after a while she meowed dangerously quietly. 'My father was my mentor. Moongaze... I was here as a kit, Shatterkit and Sunrisekit, they were my brother and sister.' The she-cat snorted in disbelief but did not question that further. 'I am Mossstar, leader of WindClan. Why are you here now when you left us without a care, loner?' Recklessly Tigerstream swept her gaze over the present WindClan cats before replying. 'I have come to rejoin the clan, Mossstar, leader of WindClan.'
Mossstar was it seems, lenient, and allowed Tigerstream trial, which quickly faded into her being a warrior of the clan. She found that her brother, Shatterkit was now Shatterflight, Deputy of WindClan. She hailed him, and respected it greatly when he became Shatterstar, leader of WindClan. However she never quite forgot Mossstar, whom had perished so bravely in battle to a disgustingly sly attack (hit from behind) with a hit that took her remaining three lives. She wishes her brother many strong lives, whilst her hunger for feeding her own ambitions is also a strong part in her life.
